BULLBAR CRASH TEST – How strong are they?

Post by YeahImAussie »

It's no secret that the guys from 4WD 24/7 have no qualms about road testing things to the absolute maximum, and in today's video, they are not going to do anything different.

Strap yourselves in this is going to be a ripper of an episode. Time to know for sure if that fancy bullbar your rolling with or looking at, will actually do anything.

YouTube Description:

See how bull bars are made, tested and strengthened! Shauno's gone down to the TJM factory in Brisbane and has seen the whole process from start to finish. You won't believe how much engineering and testing goes into making a steel bull bar compatible with airbags and modern sensors like lane assistance, emergency braking and parking distance control.

See the difference between a bull bar vs no bull bar in a kangaroo crash test, and exactly how strong a well made bull bar with RATED recovery points is.

TJM make a huge range of accessories for most modern 4WDs, look at the range: https://www.tjm.com.au/

You really have to wonder don't you. They put these alloy bars on cars stock hoping you think oh yeah nice and safe and they really are just do nothing.

Yeah it's crazy, even some of the expensive bars won't handle a hit from a kangaroo 🦘 it's crazy they can even sell em. Should be part of testing.
